REQUIRED
Engineering or Engineering Technology degree and 3-month internship is ideal. 100% onsite in Toledo, OH Role Summary This role represents the Voice of the Customer within the assembly plant by monitoring quality performance, analyzing customer feedback, and leading actions to improve product quality as it pertains to electrical or electronic issues with vehicles. The position focuses on preventing electrical defects, and resolving electrical issues, based on customer feedback and the relate this information back to the plant to be proactive for new vehicle launches. 30 day+ training. Working to support vehicle launches. Key Responsibilities (this role is focused on Electrical root cause analysis) Monitor and manage customer quality data (warranty claims, field issues, KPIs) Identify trends and lead root cause analysis for recurring or major quality problems Drive corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives Manage and resolve serious issues such as: Recalls Customer satisfaction concerns Warranty escalations Work closely with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to improve processes Ensure defects are properly identified, tracked, and prevented from leaving the plant Support process controls (FMEA, control plans, standard work) Lead risk assessments for product and process changes Present quality performance and improvement plans to leadership Support plant operations by addressing complex quality concerns on the shop floor Take action when needed (e.g., stop production or hold vehicles ) to protect quality Requirements Education
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic Technology or related field) Experience & Skills
3 months-1 year (entry level) Experience in manufacturing or quality engineering Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills Familiarity with quality tools (e.
g., FMEA, root cause analysis, control plans ) Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment Strong communication and presentation skills Comfortable working on the shop floor and with cross-functional teams Proficient with Microsoft Office or Google tools
