About the Role As a Building Operations Technician, you will serve as the primary guardian of our physical infrastructure, ensuring that all systems operate at peak efficiency to support a productive work environment. Your technical expertise in troubleshooting and preventative maintenance will directly impact the longevity of our assets and the safety of everyone on-site. Responsibilities Execute proactive maintenance schedules to preserve building integrity and minimize operational downtime. Diagnose and resolve complex issues across electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical systems. Manage the lifecycle of facility assets by maintaining accurate logs and inventory of repair parts. Oversee third-party service providers to ensure high-quality outcomes for specialized facility projects. Implement safety protocols to maintain full regulatory compliance and mitigate workplace hazards. Lead facility improvement initiatives and renovations to enhance overall site functionality. Provide rapid response support for urgent maintenance requests to ensure business continuity. Qualifications Required Skills Proven experience in general building maintenance or a related trade. Proficiency in troubleshooting HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems. Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs and working at heights. Strong commitment to safety standards and operational best practices. Preferred Skills Technical certifications in HVAC or electrical systems. Experience utilizing digital work order management software. Demonstrated ability to manage small-scale construction or renovation projects.
