Hermiston Oregon Job duties: Work in the office and field with our testing and commissioning activities, with accordance with Neta specifications, testing includes but is not limited to Protection relays, power transformers, Utility transformers, medium voltage and low voltage equipment like switchgears, circuit breakers, meters, current transformers, potential transformers, automatic transfer switches; Oversee third party testing and commissioning assuring things are installed and properly tested, with accordance to NETA specifications; Implement and Support energization of equipment, providing on-site assistance during startup, Prepare the commissioning reports and test reports; Providing Maintenance on electrical equipment to ensure if it should be inspected on a regular basis and repaired or replaced as needed. Ensure that any equipment is installed in accordance with NETA specifications; Conduct safety reviews and risk assessments with a commitment to a zero accidents environment with OSHA30 safety certification; Light travel is required for this position, in addition to lifting and transferring approximately 50 lb. equipment to test electrical equipment and wearing personal protective equipment; Coordinating work activities with other staff members and the discipline lead, will Participate in all major technical, cost, scheduling and performance decisions. The employer offers services to various clients across the continental United States. Thus, some travel is required to various unanticipated sites in Oregon, Washington, and California. Exact locations depend on business needs and cannot be determined at this time. Travel will occur about every three months. The duration of travel depends on the type of project and typically ranges from one to three weeks.
Requirements:
Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering; 10 or more years experience in Electrical Commissioning Engineering; 6 years experience in Omicron test universe and Omicron PTM; 10 years experience in Commissioning and testing low voltage and mid voltage equipment; 4 years experience in CT Analyzer.
Salary:
$144,000/year.
