Job Summary:
This role centers on solving complex computational electromagnetics challenges and designing innovative algorithms to support research and development. The position contributes to the advancement of next-generation measurement systems within a hardware-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to research, design, implement, and validate advanced computational methods Develop solutions for antenna measurements, electromagnetic field reconstruction, and related R D initiatives Apply strong theoretical foundations to drive innovative approaches in computational electromagnetics Translate complex concepts into practical implementations for real-world test and measurement systems Contribute to continuous innovation within a hardware-oriented engineering environment
Minimum Qualifications:
Master of Science in Electrical Engineering Strong foundation in electromagnetic theory, including radiation, scattering, and wave propagation Demonstrated experience with computational electromagnetics methods and numerical analysis Proven ability to develop and implement algorithms for inverse problems, optimization, or signal reconstruction Strong proficiency in MATLAB for algorithm development, modeling, and data analysis Experience with commercial electromagnetic simulation tools (e.g., CST Microwave Studio or equivalent) Hands-on experience working with antenna measurement data or EM measurement systems Strong analytical and problem-solving skills applied to complex technical systems Excellent written and verbal communication skills Add Travel here.
Desired Qualifications:
PhD of Science in Electrical Engineering Experience with near-field antenna measurements and advanced scanning techniques Knowledge of Sparse Sampling methods including compressed sensing and other advanced optimization techniques Familiarity with robot-based antenna measurement systems Experience transitioning research concepts into production and customer facing solutions
