Job Title:
Electrical Engineer Job Description Join a global engineering firm with over 35 years of experience in embedded systems, mechanical, manufacturing, and electrical engineering. As an Electrical Engineer, you will be part of an innovative team that specializes in energy and utilities, automotive, transportation, medical devices, consumer/industrial products, and material handling. Responsibilities Research existing product designs to identify redundant components and optimize designs. Review Bills of Materials (BOMs) to find opportunities for component commonization. Analyze and interpret technical drawings and schematics. Conduct simulations to assess the feasibility of component substitutions. Participate in testing of 3-phase systems and troubleshooting activities, seeking guidance from senior engineers when necessary. Maintain thorough documentation of designs, simulations, and testing processes. Essential Skills Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. Familiarity with basic electrical engineering principles. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to use oscilloscopes, power analyzers, etc. Sound understanding of electrical components and systems. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and BOMs. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment. Additional Skills & Qualifications Hands-on experience with electrical testing and troubleshooting, including resolving common circuit and system-level issues. Familiarity with industry standards and regulations. Experience with circuit simulation tools such as SPICE or Saber for validating design changes and component substitutions. Exposure to 3-phase motors. Work Environment The role is based onsite, providing a great opportunity to enhance skills around documentation, testing, and design. The position follows the JCI schedule for PTO and holidays. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of New Freedom, PA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $46.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
