Pittsburgh, PAPosition Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting electrical systems used in a variety of industrial applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to bring projects from concept through implementation, playing a key role in ensuring performance, reliability, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop electrical systems, components, and control solutions for industrial applicationsCreate and revise schematics, wiring diagrams, and panel layouts using CAD toolsSupport system integration, installation, testing, and troubleshooting effortsCollaborate with mechanical engineers, project managers, and production teams to execute projectsEnsure compliance with applicable electrical codes and standards (NEC, UL, etc.)Participate in equipment commissioning, startup, and validation processesContribute to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at optimizing system performanceProvide technical expertise to support internal teams and customer needs as required
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field2+ years of experience in electrical design within industrial, manufacturing, or related environmentsProficiency with electrical design tools such as AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN, or similarExperience with power distribution systems or control panel designFamiliarity with PLCs, control systems, or automation technologies is highly preferredWorking knowledge of NEC, UL, and other applicable standardsStrong troubleshooting and analytical skillsEffective communication and teamwork abilitiesBenefitsCompetitive SalaryMedicalDentalVisionPaid Time OffPaid Holidays
