Pittsburgh, PA Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting electrical systems used in a variety of industrial applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to bring projects from concept through implementation, playing a key role in ensuring performance, reliability, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop electrical systems, components, and control solutions for industrial applications Create and revise schematics, wiring diagrams, and panel layouts using CAD tools Support system integration, installation, testing, and troubleshooting efforts Collaborate with mechanical engineers, project managers, and production teams to execute projects Ensure compliance with applicable electrical codes and standards (NEC, UL, etc.) Participate in equipment commissioning, startup, and validation processes Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at optimizing system performance Provide technical expertise to support internal teams and customer needs as required
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field 2+ years of experience in electrical design within industrial, manufacturing, or related environments Proficiency with electrical design tools such as AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN, or similar Experience with power distribution systems or control panel design Familiarity with PLCs, control systems, or automation technologies is highly preferred Working knowledge of NEC, UL, and other applicable standards Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills Effective communication and teamwork abilities Benefits Competitive Salary Medical Dental Vision Paid Time Off Paid Holidays For this position, you must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship for a non-immigrant visa.
