Job Description

Purpose As part of the Worley Undergraduate Community, you will work under close supervision and mentorship within the Electrical Engineering team supporting combustion and energy projects. This role provides practical exposure to power generation and industrial energy systems while assisting in the delivery of electrical engineering services to Worley and its customers. Responsibilities With guidance and support, you will: Assist in delivering electrical engineering services in accordance with project requirements, safety standards, and regulatory codes Support the preparation of electrical designs and drawings for combustion and energy-related systems Assist in developing technical specifications and documentation Contribute to the preparation of equipment datasheets, load lists, cable schedules, motor lists, and single-line diagrams Assist with basic power system calculations, load studies, and technical reports Support updates to electrical standards and project documentation Participate in internal project meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (mechanical, process, controls) Adhere to safety, quality, and environmental requirements What You Will Bring Technical and Industry Experience Foundational knowledge of electrical engineering principles, particularly in power systems, circuits, and electrical machines Basic understanding of power distribution, motors, generators, and industrial electrical systems Exposure to electrical design software (e.g., AutoCAD, ETAP, SKM, or similar) is advantageous Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Strong analytical skills and attention to detail Personal Attributes Interest in power generation, combustion systems, and energy infrastructure Strong willingness to learn in a fast-paced project environment Effective communication and teamwork skills Ability to follow direction and proactively seek guidance Education - Qualifications Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related discipline In good academic standing and progressing toward degree completion Moving forward together We want our people to be energized and empowered to drive sustainable impact.
