  • 45 per hour + overtime + bonus We are working with a leading industrial equipment manufacturer based in Robesonia, PA , currently recruiting for an experienced Controls Engineer to join their engineering team. This full-time role offers a competitive hourly rate of $40
  • 45 per hour , plus overtime, bonus opportunities, and a strong benefits package including health and dental insurance, 401(k) with company match and paid time off.
This Automation Engineer role focuses on control system design, PLC/HMI programming, equipment integration, troubleshooting, and system commissioning across advanced manufacturing equipment.
Key Responsibilities include:
Design and program PLC and HMI control systems Develop electrical designs for new and existing machinery Specify automation components and control hardware Simulate, test, and debug systems prior to deployment Commission systems at customer sites (up to 30% travel) Create schematics, BOMs, and control documentation Support manufacturing and service teams during builds Provide on-site and remote technical support Drive cost reduction and process improvement initiatives Manage project schedules and budgets
Qualifications & Experience Required:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering preferred (or equivalent experience) 3+ years of automation/control systems engineering experience PLC/HMI programming experience (Siemens preferred) Knowledge of VFDs, servos, sensors, and industrial controls AutoCAD or similar CAD experience preferred Strong communication and project management skills How to
