Electrical Engineer

SR Electrical Engineer Job Description We are seeking a seasoned Electrical Engineer who will play a crucial role in troubleshooting current products and providing recommendations for improvements. The role involves selecting components for hardware to address existing field issues and collaborating with various team members to support current product maintenance and new product development. Responsibilities Troubleshoot current products and make recommendations for improvements. Select components for hardware to solve existing problems in the field. Program low-level firmware on metal and work with designers to create schematics. Collaborate with team members to assist in current product support and new product development. Design test fixtures and configurations to ensure product reliability. Essential Skills Proficiency in electrical engineering and hardware design. Experience in firmware programming, particularly on metal low-level programming. Competence in electrical and hardware troubleshooting. Familiarity with Altium, analog, digital, and PCB design. Additional Skills & Qualifications Bachelor's degree in engineering, preferably electrical. Minimum of 4 years of experience in troubleshooting electrical components and designing circuit boards. Experience with PCB design and components with communication protocols such as Bluetooth, cellular, and UART. Experience with Altium is highly preferred, but other design suites will be considered. Work Environment This position offers a flexible hybrid work model with a minimum of one day in the office on Wednesdays. The role is primarily office-based, with the flexibility to work from home part of the time.
