You'll serve as a trusted advisor to clients, oversee project quality and delivery, and play a key role in mentoring junior engineering professionals. You'll work on the design of power distribution, lighting, emergency power systems, UPS infrastructure, renewable energy integration, and medium-voltage electrical systems across a broad range of project sectors. Key Responsibilities Lead electrical system design, analysis, calculations, and specifications for building projects Produce detailed engineering documentation using industry-standard design tools and software Conduct site assessments and prepare technical reports and recommendations Review designs, calculations, specifications, and project documentation to ensure quality and code compliance Mentor, train, and develop junior engineering staff Support project budgeting, scheduling, and resource planning efforts What We're Looking For Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent Professional Engineer (PE) licence required 7+ years of experience within the building design consulting industry Strong knowledge of electrical building systems, power distribution, lighting, circuit theory, power systems, and electronics Experience working on large-scale commercial, institutional, healthcare, education, or mission-critical projects Familiarity with IES standards and industry resources including NFPA Link, TechStreet, MadCAD, and FGI Guidelines Experience with Master Specifications, eSPECS, Bluebeam Revu, Adobe, and Microsoft Office Suite Proficiency with industry design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SKM, and AGi32 If you're looking for your next step, combining technical excellence with leadership opportunities while working on critical projects, we'd love to hear from you.
