Electrical Engineer Job Description We are seeking a mid-level Electrical Engineer to lead and work on various Building, Power, Renewable, and Electrical Engineering projects. This role involves engaging with high-profile clients across key business sectors and industries, including several Fortune 100 companies and notable Federal/State/City government agencies. Responsibilities Lead and work on electrical engineering projects focused on building, power, renewable, and electrical systems. Develop one-line diagrams, three-line diagrams, and schematic diagrams for various projects. Conduct power system studies, including load flow, short circuit, arc flash, relay coordination, and grounding/lightning protection systems. Provide electrical engineering design on power and industrial projects, including high voltage substations. Prepare engineering reports, tender and construction drawings, and documents. Select and specify equipment and perform technical bid evaluations. Prepare power distribution layouts, grounding, and lightning protection system designs. Interact effectively with other disciplines on multi-disciplinary projects. Essential Skills Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering. 5 years of experience in Electrical Engineering. Proficiency with electrical equipment such as switchgears, MCCs, transformers, generators, and substation equipment. Experience with power system studies including load flow, short circuit, and arc flash analysis. Familiarity with NEC, ANSI, and IEEE standards. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with high voltage substation physical and protection and control system design. Knowledge of engineering design in power, industrial, and high voltage substations (AIS and GIS). Ability to perform electrical system studies and calculations. Proficiency in ETAP, SKM, Easypower, and Revit. Ability to interact effectively with other disciplines on multi-disciplinary projects. Work Environment The position offers a flexible work environment, which can be fully remote. While relocation is not mandatory, preference is given to candidates in the West Coast timezone. The role is open to candidates across the country and even those with TN-Visa/Status. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Bothell, WA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $130000.00/yr. 401k, vesting, company stock, flexible work environment, working on long term projects Workplace Type This is a fully remote position.
