• Full-time Electrical Engineer/Engineering Technologist We are currently offering an exciting career opportunity for an Electrical Engineer/Engineering Technologist.

Location is flexible. Reporting to the Engineering Manager the Electrical Engineering Technologist is responsible for: Conducting field inspections at different customer facilities. Collect and review drawings and manufacturer specifications. Conduct and document risk assessments. Inform clients of the recommendations and actions required to ensure compliance with applicable regulations and standards. Inspect equipment for compliance. Test machinery for ability to perform safety functions. Prepare final reports. Site inspection requires travel to industrial locations throughout the U.S. and does involve international travel at times. The work location is flexible. Mainly working from home and traveling to job sites. The salary is dependent on your skill level and what experience you are able to contribute to the job.

Ideal Candidates Will Possess:

A diploma in Electrical Engineer/Engineering Technology from an accredited US University/College (typically a 3 year program). Experience in the fields of controls, automation, robotics, industrial manufacturing or process is considered an asset. Knowledge of various safety PLC programs including knowledge of ANSI Standards for Safety of Machinery and Workplace Electrical Safety are an asset. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, along with excellent interpersonal abilities and willingness to work independently and in a team atmosphere. High degree of problem solving and decision making skill. Valid US passport and drivers license is required. You must already be a U.S. citizen.
