Principal Duties & Responsibilities:
Assists with electrical design activities Supports project managers in developing scope, schedule, and meeting client expectations Accountable for schedule and technical quality of engineering tasks Effectively recognizes and communicates scope and design changes Produces single-line diagrams, installation details, electric room layouts, connection diagrams, cable schedules, control panel layouts and grounding, lighting designs, power plans, breaker coordination studies, and Arc Flash / Short-Circuit Current studies Provides local, on-site field investigations and construction reviews #LI-AC2 Here's what you'll need Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering Minimum 2 years of professional experience in Electrical Engineering (power) Knowledge and application of the National Electrical Code (NEC) Knowledge and application of other NFPA codes and industry standards Strong working knowledge of Revit Ability to lead design and mentor junior engineers Familiarity of design and construction specifications You will not now or in the future require sponsorship for an employment visa (examples: H-1B, L-1B, or other temporary visa status like OPT or F-1) to work for Jacobs in the U.S. Ideally, you'll also have: Professional Engineer License (PE) Working knowledge of electrical power analysis software such as SKM or ETAP Water, Commercial, higher education, and federal experience

And certain roles may be eligible for additional rewards, including merit increases, performance discretionary bonus, and stock. The base salary range for this position is $95,500.00 to $116,700.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
