What you will be doing:
Develop relay settings and protection philosophies for distribution equipment including transformers, bus, cb control, distribution feeders, etc.
Review protection and control design packages
Provide remote field support to the relay test engineers during installation of settings
Model electrical systems in power simulation programs like
CAPE, ASPEN & CYME
Create thorough and accurate technical reports, correspondence, documentation, and calculations
Continuous improvement of job-related engineering, technical and professional knowledge, skills, and performance
Mentoring and training less experienced engineers in power engineering theories and principles
