We're looking for an Electrical Project Engineer who is excited about working on projects that enable the heart of our clients' business . Join us and you'll have the chance to work on projects including semiconductor manufacturing and other state of the art manufacturing facilities. The ideal candidate will be located in Portland, Oregon, however, there is geographic flexibility for well qualified candidates located in the US. As an Electrical Project Engineer, you will be accountable for schedule and technical quality of challenging engineering tasks, as you gain familiarity with the client's expectations, scope, budget and schedule. You'll also provide assistance during startup, coordinate work activities with other staff members and the discipline lead. Your multi-discipline, highly interactive team will produce installation details, motor control center single lines, electric room layouts, motor control elementaries, connection diagrams, cable schedules, control panel layouts and grounding, lighting, and power plans. You'll also assist directly with the more complex portions of the design process, interacting directly with the client, owner, and contractors to assist construction on site. You and your team will work closely with client owners in a fast paced , dynamic environment to establish design requirements and produce construction documents. Here's what you'll need Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering At least 7 years of engineering experience with building electrical systems Solid working knowledge of NFPA 70 (NEC) and IEEE standards Experience with power system software, such as ETAP Experience with generator sizing and paralleling Extensive design experience with electrical power system equipment/components, such as switchgears, transformers, panelboards, generators, UPS, etc. Team leadership and client interaction experience Effective verbal and written communication skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ideally, you'll also have: Master's degree in Electrical Engineering Professional Engineer (PE) license At least 3 years of electrical design experience for semiconductors or data centers Working knowledge of Revit or BIM software Medium Voltage (MV) design experience #afelectronics #LI-MP1

And certain roles may be eligible for additional rewards, including merit increases, performance discretionary bonus, and stock. The base salary range for this position is $110,600.00 to $152,100.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
