Open to international applicants - Visa sponsorship and relocation support provided To apply: Email your CV to merilyn@lspp.ie Essential Requirements Electrical Engineering qualification or SOLAS Level 6 2-5 years' experience in electrical panel design or industrial electrical projects Strong experience reading electrical schematics and single line diagrams Experience with PLCs, VFDs, and motor control systems Introduction Our client is a well-established control panel manufacturer with operations in Ireland. They specialise in supporting repeat and high-volume OEMs, along with a wide range of industrial applications. Due to continued growth and increased demand, they are now seeking an Electrical Project Engineer to join their team and support the delivery of key projects across their operations. Job Overview This role involves managing electrical projects from initial design and technical review through to production, testing, and final delivery. You will work closely with internal teams, suppliers, and clients to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. Key Responsibilities Manage electrical panel projects from quotation handover through to final commissioning Interpret customer specifications, electrical drawings, and technical documentation Prepare Bills of Materials and coordinate procurement of components Ensure compliance with IEC, EN, UL, CE, and other relevant standards Liaise with clients, consultants, and internal teams throughout the project lifecycle Provide technical support to workshop technicians during build and testing Oversee Factory Acceptance Testing and support Site Acceptance Testing where required Monitor timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure efficient delivery Identify and resolve technical issues effectively Maintain accurate project documentation and revision control Support continuous improvement across engineering and production teams Qualifications Degree or Higher Diploma in Electrical Engineering or related discipline or SOLAS Level 6 apprenticeship with relevant industry experience Essential Skills/Experience 2-5 years' experience in electrical panel design or industrial electrical projects Strong understanding of ELV, LV, and HV systems and control panel design Knowledge of motor control systems, PLCs, VFDs, instrumentation, and protection systems Familiarity with IEC standards and electrical safety regulations Ability to read and interpret single line diagrams and control schematics Strong organisational and project management skills Excellent communication and client-facing abilities Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Desirable Skills Experience in panel building or automation environments Proficiency in EPLAN, AutoCAD Electrical, SEE Electrical or similar Experience with CE and UL marking and technical file preparation Knowledge of short circuit and thermal calculations Familiarity with ERP or MRP systems Site commissioning experience Full clean driving licenceSalary and Benefits Salary:
