The work produced by an Engineering Aid will assist in determining the design of the electrical systems being built by one of the fastest growing electric cooperatives in the nation. This position is the perfect fit for someone who is looking for a career in a fast paced environment that allows them to do something besides sit behind a computer screen all day. As an Engineering Aid the majority of your time is spent working outdoors. The position is the perfect combination of independent and team work with a strong focus on customer service to our members. As the public face for the company, the Engineering Aid is responsible for providing a superior customer service experience to our members from start to finish. We also offer paid training, health insurance, generous paid time off (PTO), paid holidays, a retirement pension plan, a 401(k) plan, and a hybrid of remote/field work opportunities. This position typically works Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM with occasional overtime and travel less than 10% of the time.
