Senior Controls Engineer📍 Toledo, Ohio 💰 $100,000 - $150,000 ✈️ 20% Travel (including occasional international travel to Mexico)A Unique Opportunity with Long-Term Leadership ProgressionThis is more than just a Senior Controls Engineer role. The RoleWe are seeking a Senior Controls Engineer for a growing automation-focused business based in Toledo, Ohio. This position is ideal for someone with strong experience in Allen-Bradley PLCs/HMIs, servo motion, VFDs, and robotics, who enjoys both technical problem-solving and taking ownership of projects.

Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, program, and commission industrial control systemsDevelop and troubleshoot Allen-Bradley PLC and HMI applicationsWork with servo systems and advanced motion control applicationsConfigure and optimize VFDs and PowerFlex drivesSupport applications involving:

Camming profilesElectronic gearingGeneral motion control systemsIntegrate and support robotic automation systemsCreate and modify electrical/control drawings using AutoCADSupport machine startup, commissioning, and troubleshooting both on-site and remotelyCollaborate with internal teams and customers to deliver successful automation projectsContribute to the future growth and structure of the controls engineering teamWhat We're Looking ForProven experience in a Controls Engineer or Senior Controls Engineer roleStrong background with:

Allen-Bradley PLCsAllen-Bradley HMIsServo motion systemsVFDs / PowerFlex drivesExperience with camming profiles and electronic gearingAutoCAD experienceRobotics experience with Fanuc or ABB (experience with both would be highly preferred)Strong troubleshooting and commissioning experienceAbility and willingness to travel approximately 20%, including occasional travel to MexicoWhy Consider This Role?
