PRINCIPAL 5G LOCATION ALGORITHMS ENGINEER
San Mateo, CA Shape the future of real-time positioning technology by designing the core algorithms that determine where devices are in the physical world.
MUST-HAVES
Required Education:
PhD in Electrical Engineering or Applied Mathematics, or equivalent research experience, with focus on radiolocation or radionavigation
Required Technical Expertise:
Familiarity with OFDM and Zadoff-Chu sequences Experience with Integrated Sensing and Communications (ISAC) Experience with parameter estimation on radio signals Solid understanding of time-based location techniques Demonstrated programming experience in
MATLAB and Python Required Professional Attributes:
Team-oriented mindset with respectful, collaborative approach suited to fast-paced startup environment
STRONGLY PREFERRED
Proficiency with Linux command-line tools and Linux-based development environment Familiarity with the radio physical layer
IDEAL QUALIFICATIONS
Demonstrated programming experience in C Experience with cellular networks and radios Experience with cellular network planning, drive testing, and propagation models Experience in signals intelligence (SIGINT), electronic warfare, GPS/GNSS, or radar systems Familiarity with Erlang programming language
