Senior Electrical Engineer Seabrook Solutions - 5.0 Huntsville, AL Job Details 22 hours ago Qualifications Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering Managing design projects Bachelor's degree in engineering Full Job Description Senior Electrical Engineer Seabrook Solutions is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to provide contract support to our customer, MESA Associates. This position serves as a design lead with responsibility for the preparation and completion of discipline engineering designs and supporting documentation; such as design criteria, calculations, and specifications. Work Location and Travel Requirements This is a remote position. Candidates must reside within an approximate four-hour driving radius of Chattanooga, TN. Candidates will be required to travel to Mesa Associates office in Chattanooga and to customer sites periodically as needed to attend in-person meetings, group work sessions, and site inspections/evaluations. Required Qualifications Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) from an ABET-accredited college or university. 10-15 years of progressive electrical engineering experience. Current Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred. Responsibilities & Qualifications Identify, analyze, and resolve routine to complex technical problems within the electrical engineering discipline. Possess aptitude for computing and design. Possess working knowledge of computers and software such as AutoCAD, Microsoft Office Suite and software used for specific technical applications within the department. ETAP experience a plus. Experience with Motor Control Centers, Switchboards, and Switchgear preferred. Experience with Low/Medium Voltage equipment preferred. Experience with protective relaying is preferred. Ability to lead projects with minimal oversight is required.
