Senior Electrical Engineer Job Description We are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead and work on various Building, Power, Renewable, and Electrical Engineering projects. This role involves engaging with high-profile clients and contributing to iconic projects across multiple sectors. Responsibilities Lead electrical engineering design for power and industrial projects. Provide support on project scope and estimating, including input to project cost and schedule. Conduct electrical system studies and calculations such as load flow, short circuit analysis, relay coordination and programming, arc flash analysis, grounding, and lightning protection system calculations. Prepare engineering reports, tender and construction drawings, and documents. Prepare equipment specifications, selection, and perform technical bid evaluation. Develop power distribution layouts, grounding and lightning protection system designs, and layouts. Create wiring diagrams, single line, three line diagrams, and schematic diagrams. Interact effectively with other disciplines on multi-disciplinary projects. Essential Skills 10 years of experience within Electrical Engineering. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering. P.E license in Electrical or Power. Proficiency with electrical equipment such as switchgears, MCC's, transformers, generators, and substation equipment. Experience in developing one-line, three-line, and schematic diagrams. Experience with power system studies, including load flow, short circuit, arc flash, relay coordination, and grounding/lightning protection systems. Proficiency in software such as Revit, ETAP, SKM, Easy Power, and CDEGS. Additional Skills & Qualifications Familiarity with NEC, ANSI, and IEEE standards and recommended practices. Engineering design background in power, industrial, and high voltage substations (AIS and GIS). Experience with high voltage substation physical, protection, and control system design. Work Environment This position can be fully remote but ideally suited for candidates who are local and willing to relocate, preferably within the West Coast timezone. However, it is open to candidates across the entire country, and TN-Visa/Status is considered. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Bothell, WA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $180000.00/yr. 401k, fully remote, vested, stock options, various of projects Workplace Type This is a fully remote position.
