Full-Time Position Summary We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Electrical Engineer to join our growing team in Indianapolis. In this role, you will contribute to the design and delivery of complex building and industrial facility projects, including state-of-the-art pharmaceutical facilities. You will be responsible for leading electrical engineering design efforts, ensuring technical excellence, maintaining project schedules, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams throughout the project lifecycle. This position offers an opportunity to work on challenging projects, mentor engineering professionals, and contribute innovative solutions that support our clients' critical business operations. Key Responsibilities Lead the design and engineering of electrical systems for commercial, industrial, and pharmaceutical facilities.
Develop electrical designs for:
Medium
  • and low-voltage power distribution systems Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems Emergency and standby generator systems Interior and exterior lighting systems Grounding and bonding systems Fire alarm systems Security and access control systems Public Address (PA) systems Telecommunications and data systems Heat tracing systems Prepare and review engineering calculations, technical specifications, drawings, and construction documents.
Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and other project stakeholders to ensure successful project execution. Manage engineering deliverables to meet project scope, budget, schedule, and quality objectives. Provide technical support during construction, commissioning, startup, and project closeout phases. Conduct design reviews and ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and client requirements. Mentor and support junior engineers and designers, fostering technical growth and professional development. Identify opportunities for process improvements and innovative engineering solutions. Required Qualifications Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology. Minimum of 10 years of experience in the design of building electrical systems. Strong working knowledge of NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code
  • NEC) and applicable industry standards.
Experience designing power distribution, lighting, and low-voltage systems for commercial, industrial, or pharmaceutical facilities. Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit . Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary project teams. Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Preferred Qualifications Professional Engineer (PE) License or active pursuit of licensure. Previous experience leading electrical engineers and designers. Experience with pharmaceutical, life sciences, manufacturing, or mission-critical facility projects. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities. Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and professional growth. Ability to contribute innovative ideas and drive engineering excellence. Passion for building design, construction, and infrastructure development.
