This individual will serve as a technical leader, manage projects and client relationships, and mentor junior engineering staff. Key Responsibilities Design and oversee electrical systems for building projects from concept through construction Prepare power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, emergency power, and low-voltage system designs Perform engineering calculations, load studies, short-circuit analysis, and coordination studies Develop construction documents, specifications, and technical reports Coordinate with mechanical, plumbing, structural, architectural, and other project stakeholders Review shop drawings, RFIs, submittals, and support construction administration efforts Manage project schedules, budgets, and deliverables Serve as a client-facing representative and technical resource Mentor junior engineers and designers Ensure compliance with applicable building codes, energy codes, and industry standards Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering Professional Engineer (PE) license required 8+ years of electrical engineering experience within the AEC industry Proficiency with Revit and AutoCAD Strong understanding of power distribution, lighting, and building electrical systems Experience coordinating multidisciplinary projects Excellent communication and leadership skills Preferred Experience Healthcare facilities Higher education and K-12 projects Commercial and institutional buildings Mission critical or data center facilities Sustainable and energy-efficient design Construction administration and field coordination What They're Looking For Strong technical expertise and problem-solving ability Client-focused mindset Leadership and mentoring experience Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Desire to contribute to the growth of a collaborative engineering team This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Electrical Engineer, PE looking to take on a leadership role with a respected consulting engineering organization offering long-term growth and advancement potential. #
