This role is ideal for a hands-on engineer with deep expertise in PLC programming, HMI development, and system integration. You will play a key role in internal automation initiatives and help transition successful solutions into scalable products for our customers.
Control System Architecture:
Design and implement control systems for automation cells, including PLCs, HMIs, sensors, actuators, and safety systems.
Programming & Configuration:
Develop and optimize Robot(e.g. Epson, Fairino) and PLC programs (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley), HMI interfaces, and motion control logic to ensure reliable and efficient operation.
System Integration:
Integrate electrical, mechanical, and software components into cohesive automation solutions. Ensure seamless communication between devices and subsystems.
Project Execution:
Lead controls-related aspects of automation projects from concept through commissioning. Ensure compliance with safety standards and performance requirements.
Troubleshooting & Optimization:
Diagnose and resolve control system issues during development and deployment. Continuously improve system performance and reliability.
Productization & Customer Solutions:
Support the transition of internal automation solutions into scalable, customer-ready products. Ensure control systems are user-friendly and adaptable.
Collaboration:
Work closely with mechanical and electrical engineers, software developers, and production teams—locally and internationally—to ensure successful project outcomes.
Documentation & Training:
Create detailed documentation including ladder logic diagrams, control narratives, and troubleshooting guides. Train internal teams on system operation and maintenance.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field. Minimum 5+ years of experience in control system design and industrial automation. Expertise in PLC programming, HMI development, and industrial communication protocols. Familiarity with robotic systems, motion control, and safety standards. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Experience with system integration and commissioning. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Willingness to travel occasionally for tradeshows and international collaboration. •Position requires in office presence
