Compensation:

$45-50/hour + 10 days PTO, 14 paid holidays, and optional benefits

Schedule:

Monday-Friday | 1st Shift | 40 hours/week

100% Onsite Position Overview The Electrical Engineering Analyst is responsible for testing and validating North American region (NAR) radio, media, and connectivity systems within vehicle platforms. This role involves both static (bench) and dynamic (road) testing, along with detailed documentation, failure analysis, and collaboration with suppliers and global engineering teams, particularly in Wolfsburg, Germany. The ideal candidate will ensure test systems and equipment are maintained at correct version levels and support continuous improvement of infotainment system performance. Key Responsibilities Infotainment Testing & Reporting (60%) Execute testing of infotainment and connectivity systems within VW vehicle platforms Perform both bench and on-road testing to validate system functionality Document, analyze, and communicate test results, including critical issues, to key stakeholders Functional Issue Identification & Resolution (20%) Investigate and document infotainment and communication system errors Develop detailed failure reports, including trace analysis Upload findings to centralized databases and collaborate with engineers for issue resolution Test Equipment & Configuration Management (20%) Ensure test benches and vehicles are maintained at correct software and hardware version levels Coordinate and implement updates or modifications to testing environments as needed Required Qualifications Core Competencies Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a logical, detail-oriented approach Effective written and verbal communication skills Proficiency with engineering and data analysis software tools Ability to collaborate across cross-functional and global teams Strong organizational and resource management capabilities Technical Skills Experience with automotive infotainment systems and control modules Knowledge of vehicle communication networks (e.g., CAN, LIN) Ability to capture and analyze communication traces Experience testing infotainment systems and their integration within vehicle architectures Preferred Qualifications Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering Experience with root cause analysis of infotainment control modules Experience with full vehicle electrical system testing and validation Familiarity with Volkswagen infotainment systems Ability to troubleshoot network communication issues at a system level German language proficiency

Experience & Education Experience:

1-3 years of relevant engineering experience

Education:
