This cross-functional role works closely with engineering, fabrication, assembly, and project teams to design electrical systems, develop cost estimates, and ensure successful project execution. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, collaborative, and comfortable managing multiple priorities.

Key Responsibilities:

Design electrical systems including single-line diagrams, schematics, layouts, and control panels Interpret customer specifications and electrical drawings to develop accurate cost estimates and proposals Support client interactions, including site visits and technical discussions Collaborate with project teams to define scope, timelines, and deliverables Assist with material specification, procurement, and project scheduling Participate in project meetings, track progress, and evaluate change orders Maintain documentation, historical data, and post-project reviews for continuous improvement Stay current on industry standards, codes, and best practices

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (or Associate's degree with equivalent experience) 3-5+ years of experience in electrical engineering and project management Strong PLC programming experience (Siemens preferred; Rockwell/Allen-Bradley acceptable) Experience with VFDs and HMIs highly preferred Solid understanding of NEC and UL 508A standards Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and technical documents Experience with power systems, motor control centers, transformers, and troubleshooting Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office 365 Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines Willingness to travel 10-20% (overnight as needed) This role is ideal for a hands-on engineer who enjoys blending technical design, customer interaction, and project coordination in a collaborative team environment.

Pay:

$130,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
