Chemours currently has a position available for an experienced Instrumentation & Electrical Reliability Engineer (I&E Reliability Engineer) at our Titanium Technologies facility in New Johnsonville, Tennessee. Chemours New Johnsonville site is part of the Titanium Technologies business and focuses on the production of TiO2 Pigment and Slurry. The operating units at the Chemours New Johnsonville site are designated as highly hazardous processes. The site is a key asset in the Chemours supply chain for the Titanium Technologies business. The I&E Reliability Engineer will be assigned to one of three operating areas to support daily maintenance activities for I&E crews and operators. The I&E Reliability Engineer will be expected to drive instrument and electrical issues to root cause using a team-based approach. This role will include analyses of a range of equipment issues as well as maintenance and reliability support. Additionally, the E&I Engineer will be expected to provide timely, accurate analyses and recommendations for small, acute issues, as well as develop long term strategies for defect elimination and improved operations. The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to: Provide E&I engineering assistance to maintenance and operations including troubleshooting, evaluation of equipment failures, and technical recommendations for repairs and upgrades. Develop knowledge in area specific equipment to become subject matter experts for the review and preparation of maintenance work procedures and skills development/training. Initiate management of change documents to improve the safety, quality, environmental impact or cost of the production area. Provide technical assistance to develop and implement Mechanical Integrity/Quality Assurance, Reliability, and PPM programs for the unit. Provide technical expertise for all I&E up to 480
