Full Job Description Experience:

  • $130,000 per year Job Details
  • Responsibilities Design electrical panels from concept through completion, including junction boxes, heater control panels, PLCs, motor starter panels, VFDs, and general motor controls Develop internal component layouts and produce a full package of engineering drawings: external panel layouts, back panel layouts, and wiring diagrams Generate logic diagrams including SAMA process control logic and Boolean ladder logic Interpret P&IDs and translate process requirements into panel designs, wiring diagrams, and logic documentation Produce supplementary engineering deliverables including one-line diagrams, cause and effect tables, cable schedules, and conduit and routing plans Incorporate customer specifications and project requirements into equipment design Provide technical support to fabricators during build and conduct factory acceptance testing at the fabrication facility Interface directly with customers, suppliers, fabricators, and internal sales teams Required Qualifications 5+ years of electrical systems design experience in industrial applications (commercial or residential experience does not apply) Hands-on experience designing control panels using relay logic or PLC/DCS-based control Familiarity with plant process control and monitoring preferred UL-508A or NEC certification a plus A bit about us:•Established manufacturer of custom-engineered air quality and emissions control equipment serving global industrial markets.
