Job Description

This is a full-time Senior Electrical Engineer located in Addison, TX. The Senior Electrical Engineer will be responsible for designing electrical systems and equipment, including analyzing power systems, overseeing power distribution projects, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. The individual will collaborate with clients to deliver high-quality solutions and provide technical expertise throughout project lifecycles.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the design of building power distribution, interior/exterior lighting, and fire alarm systems. Oversee critical power system implementation, including UPS and generator systems. Ensure all designs comply with the NEC and local building codes. Coordinate with mechanical and plumbing disciplines to deliver fully integrated MEP solutions.
Qualifications Education:
Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from an accredited institution.
Licensure:
Active Professional Engineer (PE) license in the State of Texas (or ability to obtain via comity).
Experience:
8+ years of experience in the MEP consulting industry, specifically focused on building systems design.
Technical Skills:
Familiar in Revit and AutoCAD for MEP coordination.
Knowledge:
Deep understanding of electrical engineering principles, power distribution, and lighting control systems.
Soft Skills:
Strong communication skills and a commitment to building client relationships.
