$80,000 - $90,000 About the Role We are seeking a Senior Controls Engineer to lead the design, programming, and implementation of advanced control systems for packaged pump solutions. In this role, you will own projects from concept through completion, collaborating cross-functionally with engineering, production, and sales teams to deliver high-performance, customized systems. This is a hands-on, high-impact role ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex automation challenges and driving innovation in control system design. What You'll Do Design, develop, and program PLC-based control systems (Schneider, Eaton, Allen-Bradley) Create and configure HMI applications (Schneider, Red Lion, Delta) Program and commission Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) Integrate motors, pumps, valves, and instrumentation into complete system solutions Support system startups, installations, and troubleshooting (including occasional site visits) Provide technical support to customers and internal teams Maintain accurate documentation for system designs and programming Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team development Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives in controls and automation What You Bring (Required Qualifications) Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation, or a related field Strong knowledge of electrical systems, power distribution, and control systems Hands-on experience with PLC programming languages: Ladder Logic Structured Text Sequential Function Chart Nice to Have (Preferred Qualifications) Familiarity with
IEC 61131-3
programming standards Knowledge of UL 508A and NFPA 70 (NEC) standards Experience with AutoCAD, EPLAN, or similar CAD tools Exposure to programming languages such as Python, SQL, VBA, or .NET Why Join Us?
