US-Traveling Electrical Coordinator (Expert) Job Description Join our team as a US-Traveling Electrical Coordinator, where your electrical expertise will shine in a dynamic and safety-focused environment. You will be required to wear personal protective equipment such as a hard hat, safety glasses, and safety-toed shoes. High visibility clothing is essential. Your role is pivotal in managing electrical coordination across various sites, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and supporting installation projects. Responsibilities Support field operations by addressing questions from electrical contractors. Review electrical drawings and specifications, providing clarifications as needed. Manage contractor safety compliance with OSHA and client requirements. Drive project schedules, assess progress, and coordinate contractor activities. Conduct weekly progress meetings and prepare construction reports. Oversee quality control, ensuring work meets technical standards. Coordinate work activities in active operating facilities. Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and permitting processes. Essential Skills At least 7 years of experience in electrical coordination or construction management. Strong background in electrical systems. Willingness and ability to travel for extended periods. Experience working in active operating facilities. Familiarity with safety permitting processes. Excellent communication and coordination skills. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with automation and controls. Mechanical background. Experience in food and beverage, agriculture, or seed processing facilities. Familiarity with Procore or BIM 360. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel. background in large GC or government projects. Experience with LOTO documentation and implementation. Work Environment This position requires on-site work in industrial facilities at least five days per week, with a base operation in Remington, IN, and regional travel. High autonomy is given, with expectations for self-directed work. The work environment emphasizes a strict safety culture, with an 'incident and injury-free workplace' goal. Projects are fast-paced and tied to seasonal operations, requiring adaptability and commitment to safety standards. Travel reimbursement, per diem allowances, and family travel options are provided, ensuring support for our traveling coordinators. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Dallas, TX. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $65.00/hr.
