Responsibilities:

Design, plan, and facilitate access control and surveillance system projects from concept to completion Conduct on-site walk-throughs and system surveys to evaluate project scope and requirements Understand and interpret system design layouts including access control, CCTV, and door hardware integration Evaluate and compare door hardware components (locks, frames, handles, mag locks, electric strikes, etc.) for compatibility and function Work closely with project managers, installers, and clients to ensure accurate system design and execution Review job sites and verify install readiness prior to deployment of field technicians Support troubleshooting and design adjustments during active installations Ensure compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and security requirements

Requirements:

5+ years of experience in access control, CCTV, or low voltage systems (installation, design, or engineering) Strong understanding of door hardware (locks, frames, handles, mag locks, electric strikes, etc.) Experience with system design, layout interpretation, or field engineering preferred Ability to perform detailed site surveys and walk-throughs Knowledge of access control and surveillance systems and how components integrate Strong communication skills to coordinate with field teams and project stakeholders Willingness to travel within the Dallas-Fort Worth area as needed Why Work with Next Level Technician in Dallas-Fort Worth, TX?
