Electrical Engineer - Mission Critical MKL Careers Dallas-Fort Worth, TX Job Details Full-time $100,000 - $140,000 a year 1 day ago Qualifications Bluebeam Electrical generators Engineering Electrical switchgear Revit Power distribution systems Electrical Engineering Project scheduling Full Job Description We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to support the design, coordination, and delivery of hyperscale data center and mission critical infrastructure projects across the Dallas market. This role offers the opportunity to work on technically complex, high-value projects involving critical power systems, redundancy strategies, and fast-track construction environments. You will collaborate closely with project managers, commissioning teams, contractors, and clients to ensure electrical systems are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest performance standards. Responsibilities Design and coordinate electrical systems for mission critical facilities and data centers Support power distribution design including MV/LV systems, UPS, generators, switchgear, and PDUs Review drawings, specifications, and submittals for compliance and constructability Coordinate with MEP teams, subcontractors, and commissioning agents throughout project delivery Participate in site inspections, QA/QC processes, and field troubleshooting Assist with commissioning, start-up, and turnover activities Ensure projects comply with NEC, local codes, and client standards Support scheduling, budgeting, and technical problem-solving during construction phases Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline 3+ years of experience in mission critical, data center, industrial, or large commercial projects Knowledge of critical electrical infrastructure and redundancy systems Experience with UPS systems, generators, switchgear, and electrical distribution Familiarity with Revit, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, or BIM coordination tools Strong communication and coordination skills PE license preferred but not required Preferred Experience Hyperscale data center projects Commissioning or startup exposure Owner-side, consulting, or contractor experience Fast-paced construction or design-build environments
Pay:
$100,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
