12 Months (Contract) Role Overview Join a high-impact infrastructure project as a Field Electrical Engineer, supporting on-site construction and electrical system integration. This role is focused on execution-not design-ensuring electrical installations are safe, compliant, and built right the first time. You'll play a critical role in resolving field issues, coordinating across teams, and preparing systems for energization.
What You'll Do:
Provide on-site electrical oversight to ensure installations align with drawings, standards, and NEC requirements Support construction of switchgear, MCCs, E-houses, grounding systems, and auxiliary electrical systems Act as the primary contact for RFIs, field issues, and technical clarifications Coordinate electrical integration for large equipment and power systems Support temporary power solutions, generators, and system tie-ins Maintain redlines, as-builts, and turnover documentation Identify risks early to prevent delays, rework, or safety issues Collaborate with construction teams, engineers, and vendors daily Minimum Qualifications (Required): Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering Hands-on experience supporting electrical construction in industrial or energy environments Experience with large equipment or rotating machinery electrical installations Knowledge of temporary power or on-site generation systems Working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) Experience managing RFIs, redlines, and construction documentation Ability to work full-time on-site and coordinate with cross-functional teams
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience on compressor stations or large industrial infrastructure projects Familiarity with generators, switchgear, MCCs, and protection systems Experience in fast-paced or late-stage construction environments Previous experience as an owner's representative on-site
