The Advanced Radar Products Department empowers people to deliver innovative, affordable and producible products and technologies to support airborne Radar solutions throughout the full product lifecycle while remaining accountable for program execution cost, schedule, and performance. As a 2nd Shift Electrical Engineer II supporting production, you will be part of a team of highly talented engineers that work on highly complex Radar products and test sets. You will be working as a member of a production support team and under the guidance of an Integrated Product Team (IPT) Lead in McKinney, Texas. Your Responsibilities Managing component obsolescence identification and mitigation. Troubleshooting test sets down to component level to include analog and digital interfaces, etc. Includes software. Troubleshooting hardware and process issues down to circuit card assembly (CCA)/Module and component levels to include analog/digital/RF/power circuitry and interfaces. Work in a team environment to ensure the production and sustainment timelines are maintained. Analysis of test data of products to make sure test specifications are met. Reading and interpreting and applying engineering drawings, including assembly drawings, parts lists, wire lists, and schematics. What We Are Looking For Typically requires a Bachelor's Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM). A minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience with electronics and electrical circuits as well as ability to isolate failures to root cause. Experience reading & interpreting drawings and electrical schematics. Experience with lab equipment such as multimeters, signal sources, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and logic analyzers. Experience working on a production program. The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.
