Full Job Description Position Summary :
The Electrical Supervisor is responsible for planning, scheduling and overseeing the work of the Electrical Staff based on Operational priorities and generated work orders; to ensure safe and efficient installation and repairs of facilities and machinery throughout the entire campus. The Electrical Supervisor is primarily focused on production equipment troubleshooting and repairs.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Must be able to oversee electrical technicians during the course of your shift. Communicate assignments and major tasks to the electrical team, making sure they have all the materials and instructions necessary to complete work assignments safely, completely and correctly. Periodically check work in progress of each technician and provide immediate assistance and troubleshooting instruction as needed Work with the Safety Team to ensure all Encore's equipment meets safety requirements.
Qualifications:
5-10 years of experience in industrial or electrical manufacturing environments Strong hands‑on expertise with: PLC troubleshooting and minor programming AC/DC drives diagnostics and programming AC/DC motor troubleshooting Ability to read and interpret electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic drawings , schematics, manuals, and manufacturer specifications Solid computer proficiency , including email, MS Office, and electronic maintenance/communication tools Working knowledge of safety programs and procedures , including PPE, Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), Confined Space, and Arc Flash requirements Proven people‑leadership experience , including: Conducting employee performance evaluations Interviewing and selecting electrical maintenance candidates Responsible for electrical safety and documentation compliance , including: Maintaining Arc Flash PPE and inventory Ensuring machine backups, PLC programs, HMI files, and electrical prints are current and properly stored Managing and maintaining machine software libraries Experience with on‑call scheduling and supporting after‑hours maintenance coverage Strong parts and inventory management skills: Identifying and maintaining critical spare parts Sourcing replacements for obsolete or long‑lead‑time components Coordinating with parts teams to minimize downtime risks Ability to work effectively with outside vendors and contractors Capable of generating and reviewing weekly labor and hours reports Demonstrated ability to collaborate cross‑functionally with production, engineering, and other departments to reduce downtime and improve reliability
