The future is looking bright in Texas! RenewableWorks is now accepting applications for
ELECTRICAL FIELD ENGINEER
at our exciting new solar project near the Nixon area. Whether you've been working on solar sites for years or are an aspiring first-timer, we'd love for you to join our crew! As anField Engineer on our team, you'll be instrumental in the support of all project based personnel ensuring technical, material and administrative tasks align with project delivery standards of excellence for remote sustainable energy units on commercial construction solar farm sites.

This is a physically demanding role that will require you to work in all kinds of weather and terrain. A strong work ethic will serve you well, along with prior solar or construction experience (this is a plus, not a must!). Job Responsibilities Assist with the coordination and resolution of engineering requests for project-based personnel Manage the procurement of materials specific to trade requirements in line with project timelines Secure and maintain all necessary permits for assigned tasks throughout the project's duration Ensure effective collaboration with team members to achieve desired outcomes Facilitate communication with internal and external stakeholders, including third-party engineers and owners Oversee the creation, compilation, and management of reports and technical documentation Maintain comprehensive records and control over project documents Support superintendents through daily timekeeping and reporting of staff, equipment, and material usage Aid in developing project execution plans, monitoring schedules, and performing quality control checks to ensure compliance with project standards Conduct regular inspections of ongoing and completed work to uphold quality assurance Champion safety by leading by example, ensuring that all team members adhere to safety practices and standards Conduct job hazard analyses before project commencement and advocate for continuous safe behavior among the crew Manage environmental compliance by ensuring the proper training and certification of field staff Develop trade-specific training materials and execute inspection and testing plans Job Requirements Must be competent in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) Demonstrated ability in supporting projects: development, planning, installation, and execution Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Fluent in written and spoken English Willingness to travel full-time Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced working environment Ability to lift up to 50-75+ pounds and remain in a stationary position for extended periods of time with or without reasonable accommodation Solar and/or construction site experience is a plus While tools will be provided on site, please come ready with steel or composite toed boots and hot / cold weather gear This work is not for the faint of heart - Strong work ethic and positive attitude will serve you well Hard working and dependable Minimum, an OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification We consider qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records in accordance with applicable law Qualifications and Experience Background Check Drug Test Must be at least 18 years old Perks & Benefits Weekly paychecks Direct Deposit or Cash Card pay options Medical / Dental Insurance 401k

This range is a good-faith estimate, based on the qualifications necessary for the position, including but not limited to experience, training, and other considerations permitted by law. Factors that may be used when making an offer may include a candidate's skills and experience, the expected quality and quantity of work, and internal pay alignment, as needed. Most candidates will start in the bottom half of the pay range. The upper end of the range will generally be reserved for candidates with extensive skills and experience. An employee's pay history will not be a contributing factor were prohibited by local law.
