JOB DESCRIPTION

Crescent Systems Inc. - a custom hardware/software engineering company headquartered in Richardson, TX, is seeking an entry to mid-level Hardware Electrical Engineer. This engineer should have engineering design experience in power distribution, cabling and PCBs. Candidate should have an understanding of AC and DC power systems to aid in aircraft power distribution design/analysis and will assist with system design for aircraft command, control, and communication systems. The selected candidate will be subject to government security investigations and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

QUALIFICATIONS

Must be a U.S. Citizen and have the ability to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering preferably from an ABET accredited college or university 3 or more years or more of electrical engineering hardware design experience General user knowledge of electrical design CAD tools Ability to interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams Ability to work with other engineering disciplines to interface systems appropriately Proficiency using MS Office suite of programs to include MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint Can be assigned as a Product Lead owning product from design to installation Candidate must be able to collaborate in a team environment, prioritize and adjust tasks to accomplish the project result, prioritize multiple responsibilities and/or accomplishing them simultaneously, and comprehend and analyze complex problems and develop solutions

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

3+ years of experience within DOD and aerospace industry Experience with Cadence and Zuken E3 CAD software tools Experience in using product life management systems such as Product Center or equivalent Experience developing custom systems on boar, middleware and complete system levels Experience with creating acceptance test procedures and other hardware qualification documents Experience with completing engineering dry runs of products Has active Secret or Top-Secret Security Clearance If you are passionate about systems engineering and eager to contribute to innovative aerospace projects, we encourage you to apply for the position of Electrical Engineer at Crescent Systems, Inc.
