Preventive Maintenance and Reliability Planner

You will partner with operations and maintenance to build proactive schedules spanning preventive, predictive, and corrective work, plus project tasks, all tuned to real production demands. How you create impact Turn operating insights and failure analyses into practical, well-documented procedures that reduce cost, lift equipment reliability, and improve energy efficiency. Lead stockroom management for supplies, materials, and spare parts, including procurement, to ensure availability while controlling cost. Establish the right spare parts and stocking levels in collaboration with operating and maintenance teams. Advance plant Equipment Reliability Processes through disciplined planning and coordination. Your background

Required:

proficiency with Microsoft Office and significant experience using ERP and CMMS software. At least 5 years of hands-on experience in heavy manufacturing.

Recommended education:

post-secondary studies in administration or engineering, or a technical college diploma in an electrical or mechanical discipline. Maintenance experience with mechanical and electrical equipment used in extrusion and associated processes and facilities; proven knowledge of asset reliability technology and systems. Clear written and verbal communicator; fast learner; self-motivated; effective both independently and in a team; able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision. Skilled at working with operations leadership, outside contractors, and vendors while balancing differing priorities when shaping work procedures and equipment changes. Uncompromising about safety and housekeeping. Meticulous attention to detail and strong coordination across parallel activities. Ready to work during regularly scheduled shutdowns and maintain high availability as operations or projects require. Willing to travel as needed.
