San Antonio, TX CNG Engineering is hiring Electrical Engineers with 2- 9 years of experience. Responsibilities and expectations will scale appropriately based on experience level. This role is ideal for engineers who want to deepen their technical skills, contribute to multidisciplinary project teams, and support the design of electrical systems for public and institutional facilities. Our work spans municipal, healthcare, education, aviation, and commercial facilities-projects where system performance, coordination, and long-term value are essential.
YOUR ROLE AT CNG ENGINEERING
As an Electrical Engineer, you will contribute to the design of safe, efficient, and sustainable electrical systems that support the communities we serve. You will collaborate closely with project teams, support project delivery from concept through construction, and help uphold CNG Engineering's commitment to engineering excellence and equitable environments.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Technical Responsibilities (All Levels) Design branch circuit distribution systems for power and lighting Assist in developing overall power distribution systems Perform electrical calculations, system analyses, and code reviews Support the preparation of drawings and documentation in alignment with CNG standards Collaboration & Coordination Coordinate with internal MEP teams, architects, and external consultants Participate in design and construction meetings Support client communication and project documentation Additional Responsibilities (Based on Experience Level) Lead portions of project phases or discipline tasks Provide guidance to junior engineers and designers Support construction administration activities (RFIs, submittals, site visits) Contribute to project planning, quality reviews, and technical decisions

QUALIFICATIONS
