In this role, you will utilize your expertise in mechanical, electrical, and fabrication work to maintain, repair, and improve facilities and manufacturing processes. Your proactive approach and leadership will ensure that projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards. Responsibilities Perform maintenance, repair, and installation of mechanical systems, including troubleshooting using schematics and technical manuals Operate programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to monitor and control automated equipment processes Conduct welding tasks with precision to ensure structural integrity and safety standards are met Manage electrical systems by diagnosing issues with electrical components and using tools such as ohmmeters for testing Read, interpret, and follow detailed schematics for various mechanical and electrical projects Oversee facilities maintenance activities including plumbing, HVAC, painting, and general upkeep Supervise junior team members or apprentices on projects, providing guidance and ensuring safety protocols are followed Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track work orders, maintenance history, and inventory levels Ensure compliance with safety regulations while maintaining a clean and organized work environment Deliver excellent customer service by effectively communicating with clients or internal teams regarding project status or technical issues Requirements Proven experience in manufacturing or facilities maintenance with a strong background in mechanical knowledge and electrical systems Hands-on experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics interpretation, and electrical troubleshooting Skilled in welding techniques with the ability to perform precise metalwork tasks Knowledge of residential painting techniques is a plus for facility beautification projects Demonstrated leadership or supervising experience managing teams or projects effectively Familiarity with CMMS software for maintenance tracking and reporting Ability to read technical diagrams, schematics, and mechanical drawings accurately Strong communication skills in English for clear documentation and team collaboration Electrical experience including testing with ohmmeters and understanding electrical codes is essential Experience in customer service environments or client-facing roles is advantageous Join us as a Skilled Craftsman if you're passionate about applying your technical expertise in a vibrant environment that values quality craftsmanship, safety, and continuous growth.
