Description:
Join the Lockheed Martin Aeronautics team at Hill Air Force Base, Utah. The Electrical Engineer will perform as an integral member of the on-site Engineering Support Group (ESG) team with responsibility to support the development of F-16 Organic Modification programs for the United States Air Force and to update the Lockheed Martin Aeronautics (LM Aero) Engineering databases and drawings. What You Will Be Doing Responsibilities include:- Researching harness and MIDAS engineering for the electrical impacts to F-16 aircraft using Lockheed Martin's engineering databases (Joint Electrical Design Installation (JEDI), ACE Database (SAP - Business Objects), Asset Design Management System (ADMS), Parts Warehouse, Parts Classification & Management System (PCM), etc.
- Generating harness Electrical Source Data (ESD) including Wire List (WL), Parts List (PL) and Reference Designator List (RDL) change information.
- Developing MIDAS Electrical Source Data (ESD) including Map, Wiring, Block and Schematic diagram redline information using CADAM Computer Drafting (CCD) Graphics.
- Creating Organic Change Notices (OCNs) using Asset Design Management System (ADMS) and engineering change graphics using CATIA V5 and CCD Graphics.
- Limited domestic travel in support of F-16 aircraft Operational Use Evaluation (OUE), Trial Verification Installation (TVI) and Kit Proof (KP) events which typically last for up to 2 weeks at a time
- Must be a US Citizen. Must be able to obtain a Secret Security Clearance.

The following Basic Qualifications are skills that a candidate must possess to be considered for this position:- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related discipline -or- 4 years equivalent experience
- Experience using and/or updating electrical wiring diagrams
Desired Skills:
The following Desired Skills are not required but are those skills that would set a candidate apart from the other candidates:- Experience engineering aircraft harnesses
- Experience working with engineering change documentation
- F-16 aircraft engineering and electrical maintenance experience
- Electrical engineering experience on commercial or military aircraft
- Familiarity with military aircraft organizational maintenance manuals (Wiring Data, Fault Isolation, General System)
- Working knowledge of aircraft Systems/Sub-systems (MIDAS)
- Ability to interpre engineering drawings, electrical diagrams, and military/vendor specifications
- CATIA v5 experience or equivalent design software

Part-time Remote Telework:
The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.Work Schedules:
