April 6, 2026 Space Dynamics Laboratory (SDL) is seeking a Mid-Level Electrical Engineer to work on electronics boards and subsystems for satellites and space-based sensors for our Strategic & Military Space Division. The ideal candidate works well within a team, is proficient at circuit board design, test, and debug, and likes to take their designs from concept through to design, test, and launch. The Strategic & Military Space Division delivers advanced satellite and sensor systems that support the Department of Defense and the Intelligence Community. Bachelor's or graduate degree in electrical or computer engineering 10+ years of experience with a BS, 8+ years of experience with a MS, or 4+ years with a PhD Demonstratable experience with electrical circuit design, analysis, and test Highly proficient at testing and troubleshooting digital and analog systems in a laboratory environment Strong written and verbal communication Strong organizational skills Must be a U.S. citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance Must be able to travel occasionally Let us know in your application materials if you possess any of the following desired qualifications: Top Secret Clearance Experience in high reliability design for space and/or military systems Understanding of radiation considerations in electronic design Experience as a technical lead Experience with high-speed communications interfaces Experience automating testing of electronics FPGA programming experience Embedded systems experience •Salary Range $116,000 - $175,000 Salary commensurate on education and relevant experience This range serves as a general guideline and may vary based on factors such as role, level, location, market conditions, and individual qualifications, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
