Senior Electrical Engineer

Everforth ECS is seeking aSenior Electrical Engineerto join the RPL team inChantilly, VA.As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will work on high performance RF systems used for Radar and Flight Termination System (FTS). Based on system requirements, you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary engineering team of RF Engineers, Mechanical Engineers, and Software Engineers, to derive solutions, perform verification testing, and troubleshoot any issues.

A successful candidate will solve complex problems and complete hardware and firmware designs and perform hands on testing.

Bachelor'sdegreein Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field, with 8+ years of relevant experience, oraMaster'sdegreein Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering,with 5+ years related experience.

Experience with Schematic Capture and Layout of complex mixed signal designs.

HDI Layout experience understanding the complexities and tradeoffs of complex high-density layouts.+5 years hardware development experience using FPGAs, microprocessors, high speed digital circuits in embedded designs.

In depthknowledge of engineering standards, theories, concepts, and techniques relevant to electrical and electronic systemsbuilt to MIL-STD-461F and above.

Experience generating Basis of Estimates (BOE) to generate Scope and Pricing for new work.

Experiencedevelopingand publishingtechnical contentfrom concept tocompletion, including test procedures, test reports, engineering analyses, white papers, operations/user manuals, and design review materials,in collaboration withengineers, technicians, and stakeholders.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders.

Strong teamplayer with theability to work independently andcollaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Experience in mentoring junior engineers to complete tasks.

Ability to obtain andmaintaina US Government DoD Security Clearance.
