We're looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our growing team and play a key role in the design of mission-critical facilities including healthcare campuses, data centers, laboratories, government facilities, and commercial environments. What You'll Do As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you'll serve as a technical leader responsible for the design, coordination, and execution of complex electrical engineering projects.
Key responsibilities include:
Lead the electrical design and engineering efforts for multiple projects simultaneously Design power distribution, lighting, grounding, communications, fire alarm, and related building systems Prepare and review engineering studies, calculations, specifications, and construction documents Develop project budgets and cost estimates Coordinate designs with mechanical, structural, architectural, and other engineering disciplines Guide and mentor engineers, designers, and CAD/Revit professionals Interpret and apply applicable electrical and energy codes and standards Collaborate directly with clients, contractors, and code officials throughout the project lifecycle Support projects from initial planning through construction and commissioning What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (Mechanical Engineering candidates with significant electrical design experience may also be considered) 8+ years of electrical engineering and design experience Experience designing electrical systems for commercial, healthcare, laboratory, data center, government, or other complex facilities Strong understanding of NEC (NFPA 70) and applicable building and energy codes Experience producing and reviewing electrical construction documents Ability to manage projects, prioritize work, and communicate effectively with clients and team members Preferred Qualifications Professional Engineer (PE) license (Required) Master's degree in Engineering Experience with mission-critical facilities Experience with SKM, ETAP, or EasyPower Familiarity with LEED, ASHRAE, IECC, IGCC, and IES standards Experience with generator sizing and power system studies U.S. Citizenship required due to project requirements Software Experience Microsoft Office Suite AutoCAD and/or Revit MasterSpec Power system analysis software such as SKM, ETAP, or EasyPower Compensation & Benefits A competitive compensation and benefits package includes: Annual profit-sharing bonus 401(k) with employer match Generous PTO and paid holidays Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage Company-paid life insurance and long-term disability insurance HSA, FSA, EAP, short-term disability, and supplemental insurance options Tuition reimbursement and professional development support Professional association membership reimbursement Why Consider This Role?
