!! Insight Global is seeking a Facilities Electrical Project Engineer to report to the Facility Engineering Team Leader. This role provides technical engineering support and project management to help production, maintenance, and administrative teams meet site business goals
Responsibilities:
Manage electrical and controls scope for process improvements, capital projects, and equipment upgrades Lead projects from concept through design, bidding, manufacturing, installation, startup, and closeout Support production and maintenance by troubleshooting equipment and improving system reliability and performance Provide advanced support for PLC, HMI, robotics, and SCADA/database systems Maintain accurate documentation of automation programs and system changes Identify and implement improvements to automation systems and processes Ensure safety of equipment and processes, including adherence to EHS standards Oversee contractors to ensure compliance with company and regulatory requirements
Required:
Bachelor's degree in engineering Experience with power distribution, PLCs, HMIs, and database systems Project management experience in a team-based environment (cradle-to-grave) Nice to have: Experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical control systems PLC programming (Allen Bradley, ControlLogix, Modicon) Experience with Wonderware, SQL, and
HMI/SCADA
systems Knowledge of NEC, NFPA, and electrical safety codes Experience with AutoCAD or Inventor 5+ years of relevant electrical systems experience
