      Overview:
      ACS Professional Staffing is looking for an employee to work on-site with our client. This Nuclear Electrical Planner III will plan, develop, and execute detailed electrical maintenance and modification work packages, including procedures, drawings, material requirements, and regulatory documentation. The role supports field walkdowns, work package reviews, risk assessments, and coordination with Operations, Engineering, Supply, and Work Management to ensure safe, high quality execution. This position requires strong technical troubleshooting skills, effective written and verbal communication, and working knowledge of nuclear work management, safety regulations, ALARA, and nuclear security requirements. The candidate must possess strong computer skills and the ability to obtain Planner I qualification. This full-time position is located in Richland, WA.
      Pay rate:
      $53.68 - $79.65

            • Plan and prepare detailed work instructions for electrical and contract maintenance activities, projects, and modifications
            • Develop and execute work packages, including defining procedures, drawings, equipment, and material requirements
            • Select and approve material purchases or provide procurement recommendations to support work execution
            • Conduct field walkdowns to evaluate maintenance, modification, and surveillance activities and improve work package quality
            • Coordinate with Work Management, Supply, Operations, and Engineering to resolve work package issues
            • Prepare and submit required documentation, including RWPs, plant barrier and fire impairments, operability impact statements, ALARA taskouts, and regulatory/code documentation
            • Verify work instructions comply with station procedures, NEC codes, standards, and regulatory requirements, including 10CFR50.59 when applicable
            • Review and approve work packages to ensure safety, quality, and technical rigor
            • Develop, revise, and maintain maintenance procedures in compliance with codes, standards, and vendor recommendations
            • Provide project management support to planners and contractors, including contract requisition reviews and troubleshooting
            • Participate in work control and scheduling meetings and provide planning and craft interface feedback
            • Perform maintenance risk assessments, clearance order reviews, peer reviews, and system interaction reviews to support station processes and changes
            Requirements:
            • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and a minimum of 6 years of experience in a technical field (maintenance, engineering, operations, or maintenance planning)
            • Associate's degree from an accredited college or university and a minimum of 8 years of experience in a technical field
            • High school diploma or GED plus technical training or apprenticeship in maintenance related work and a minimum of 6 years of experience in a technical field
            • High school diploma or GED and a minimum of 10 years of experience in a technical field
            • Educational experience from an accredited college or university may be considered on a year for year basis in lieu of work experience
