ACS Professional Staffing is looking for an employee to work on-site with our client. This Nuclear Electrical Planner III will plan and develop detailed electrical work packages to support nuclear maintenance and modification projects, ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient execution. The role coordinates with cross-functional teams, conducts field walkdowns, and prepares required regulatory and technical documentation. This position reviews and approves work packages for quality, safety, and compliance with applicable codes and standards. Requires relevant technical experience based on education level, strong troubleshooting and communication skills, and working knowledge of nuclear work management processes, safety regulations, ALARA principles, and security requirements. This full-time position is located in Richland, WA. Pay rate:

Plan and prepare detailed electrical work packages for nuclear projects, ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient execution in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements Develop work instructions to support electrical and contract maintenance activities, including project work and system modifications Define required procedures, drawings, equipment, tools, and materials for execution of planned work Select and approve materials or provide procurement recommendations to support work package implementation Conduct field walkdowns to evaluate maintenance, modification, and surveillance activities and improve work package quality Coordinate with Work Management, Supply, Operations, and Engineering to identify and resolve work package issues Prepare and submit required documentation including RWPs, plant barrier and fire impairments, operability impact statements, ALARA task outs, and regulatory/code documentation Verify work instructions comply with station procedures, NEC codes, and applicable regulatory and quality standards Review and approve work packages to ensure safety, technical accuracy, and compliance with 10CFR50.59 screening or evaluation requirements Develop, revise, and maintain maintenance procedures to support work package development and ensure compliance with codes, standards, and vendor recommendations Provide guidance or project oversight to planners and contractors supporting package development Participate in work control and scheduling meetings, contract reviews, troubleshooting efforts, maintenance risk assessments, and peer reviews to support plant operations Requirements:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with at least 6 years of technical experience (maintenance, engineering, operations, or maintenance planning), OR Associate's degree with at least 8 years of relevant technical experience, OR High school diploma or GED with technical training/apprenticeship and at least 6 years of relevant experience, OR High school diploma or GED with 10 years of relevant technical experience Educational experience may be substituted year-for-year for required work experience Nuclear commercial power plant experience Strong written and verbal communication skills Demonstrated troubleshooting and technical problem-solving ability Strong computer proficiency Ability to obtain Planner I qualification Working knowledge of nuclear power plant work management and planning processes Knowledge of power plant safety regulations and compliance requirements Understanding of ALARA (As Low As Reasonably Achievable) principles Familiarity with nuclear security operations, regulations, and requirements Work sponsorship is not available at this time.
