What You'll Do Day-To-Day Ensure effective performance of engineering assignments. Plan and direct the timely execution of engineering activities, as assigned. Ensure projects, initiatives, and processes comply with established policies, objectives and customer standards. Ensure adherence to government, organization and customer engineering standards and procedures. Monitor goals, objectives and standards of performance for assigned team members. Work interactively with customers and clients to develop strong relationships. Research and assess best practices, proposing methods and improvements. Work on special projects, as directed. Perform other related duties and tasks, as required. You may have also acquired the following skills: Leadership experience supervising direct reports across multi-discipline work groups of engineers and technical specialists. Disciplines may include mechanical, chemical, electrical, and instrumentation & control Advanced knowledge of related engineering and technical standards, techniques, and criteria; demonstrated leadership ability to manage multiple tasks and projects through subordinates, other work groups, and suppliers At least 10 years in an electrical engineering and experience in industrial automation, instrumentation and controls is preferred Preferred skills include design/program of PLCs (Allen Bradley), Oversee of field work including new installations, integration into existing systems, and troubleshooting Strong management capabilities: ability to identify and grow talent, build a sense of community within a team, and improve the output of another engineer Experience in overseeing instrumentation calibration programs What You'll Bring Bachelor's Degree in Engineering. Dependent on the position, degrees in Physics, Engineering Technology and Engineering Science may also be accepted. Minimum of 7 years of related experience. Advanced knowledge of related engineering standards, techniques and criteria. Excellent communication skills with ability to work effectively with all levels of staff, management and customers as required. Ability to develop and maintain good interpersonal relationships; work collaboratively within a team environment. Advanced problem identification and problem resolution skills. Demonstrated leadership ability to manage multiple tasks and projects through subordinates. Strong analytical ability and problem identification/problem resolution skills. Advanced proficiency with specialized software tools and programming languages as required by the role.

Total Rewards Package Salary:

$126,000

• $171,000 and may also include annual incentives and performance bonuses.

The base salary range is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
